CJP Calls Delhi Protest March on September 5 Over ‘Unfulfilled’ Government Promises

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a fresh youth protest march in the national capital on September 5, accusing the Centre of failing to fulfil commitments made to protesters following the withdrawal of its earlier agitation.

According to the party, the peaceful march will begin at India Gate and proceed towards the New Delhi Police Headquarters. The protest is expected to be led by families of students who allegedly died by suicide in connection with the NEET paper leak controversy, along with people who claim they were affected by police action during earlier demonstrations.

The CJP said the new protest would carry the message “Keep Your Word”, alleging that several assurances made by the government on July 25 have not been fully implemented. The party has particularly raised concerns over the withdrawal of cases against protesters and other commitments linked to the earlier student-led movement.

The announcement follows a review of the government’s response by the CJP’s national working committee. In the days leading up to the decision, the organisation had warned that it could return to the streets if the commitments made to protesting students and young people were not honoured.

The September 5 demonstration could bring renewed attention to the demands of students and youth groups, with the CJP calling for nationwide participation in the Delhi march. Authorities have not yet announced details regarding traffic arrangements or security measures for the proposed protest.

The developments will be closely watched as the Centre faces fresh pressure to respond to the allegations that promises made during negotiations to end the earlier agitation remain unfulfilled.
