A fresh controversy has surfaced around the NEET examination after claims began circulating on social media that the question paper for the alleged Re-NEET examination is being sold through Telegram groups. According to viral posts, some groups are reportedly demanding up to ₹35,000 in exchange for access to the question paper.
The issue gained attention after a social media user tagged the National Testing Agency (NTA) and CyberDost on X (formerly Twitter), alleging that several Telegram channels were offering what they claimed to be the Re-NEET 2026 question paper. The user also shared links to these groups and urged authorities to investigate the matter.
Screenshots shared online appear to show advertisements promoting access to the supposed examination paper. These claims have sparked concern among students and parents, many of whom are worried about the integrity and fairness of the examination process.

However, it is important to note that there has been no official confirmation that any genuine question paper has been leaked. Authorities have not verified the authenticity of the claims circulating on social media. In many cases, fraudsters exploit students’ anxiety before major examinations by offering fake question papers and collecting money through online platforms.
The NTA has repeatedly advised candidates to rely only on official notifications and avoid engaging with unofficial sources claiming to provide examination materials. Experts also warn that purchasing or sharing leaked examination content, if genuine, can lead to serious legal consequences.
As the allegations continue to spread online, many are calling for a thorough investigation into the Telegram groups and accounts involved. Cybercrime authorities may examine the claims to determine whether they involve fraud, misinformation, or any actual security breach.
Until any official findings are released, students are encouraged to remain cautious and focus on their preparation rather than unverified information circulating on social media.
