The proposed three-day bank strike has been withdrawn, ensuring that bank branches across India will remain open on Monday and continue operating as scheduled. The decision comes after the planned protest was called off, removing the possibility of a disruption that could have affected banking services for customers nationwide.
The withdrawal of the strike means that regular banking operations, including cash deposits and withdrawals, cheque clearance, passbook updates, account-related assistance, and other counter services, are expected to continue without interruption. Customers who had planned branch visits during the proposed strike period can now carry out their transactions as usual.
The cancellation is expected to provide relief for businesses, traders, salaried employees, pensioners, and students who depend on uninterrupted banking services for daily financial activities. Many commercial payments, salary transfers, and routine banking transactions that were at risk of being delayed are now expected to proceed according to schedule.
Digital banking services, including internet banking, mobile banking, UPI transactions, and ATM services, are also expected to continue functioning normally alongside branch operations. While online banking remains available during many disruptions, the withdrawal of the strike ensures that in-person services will also remain accessible.
Customers are advised to check with their respective bank branches for any local operational updates or branch-specific schedules. However, the overall banking system is expected to function normally following the withdrawal of the proposed three-day strike, allowing financial transactions to continue without the anticipated interruption.
